i could go on for 40 days and 40 nights about my blog title and bore you to bits and pieces with 10,000 different ideas i actually had for the name of this blog but because of the 500 characters limit that is imposed upon this mechanism which, by the way, is supposed to promote free speech, i shall shorten it to just two words basically describing what the hell this is all about and who this hell belongs to. |

why i like Pangkeng so much as a friend
the other day, Pangkeng SMSed me. PK: hows life? (in his typical SMS shorthand) Me: Ok lor. Sore throat, smoke too much. (in my typical Queen's English format) PK: i tink we need 2 cool down, may b drink sum Ang Moh Herbal Tea. (Ang Moh is our local term for Caucasians, it's a Hokkien-based term) Me: like what? Earl Grey? Chamomile? Lavender? i drink a lot of that. PK: beer ME: KNN lah. hur hur. we met up for our weekly beer drinking session at a tacky hole-in-the-wall bar in Kitchener Road after that. the name of the Bar was 'Oh Carol!'. i dare you to guess the name of the bar owner. 22 Comments:
heheh im da first - wats the bar owner's name - Dicko? KNN. I am so using that in my sms as well. Muahaha. lols u mentioned that "ang mo herbal tea" in one of yr previous post i think.... its great to have a buddy to go drinking with... haha smile on~ Think of it this way, beer is somewhat made of barley, no? And barley water is cooling eh? Lemme take a stab at the name... Jennifer? ;) carol i guess is the owner's name What! You young guys have no sense of gay history, gay culture and anti-chewing gum campaigns! A bar called "Oh Carol" has to be owned by a man called Neil (Sedaka) :-) Soooo...what does KNN mean? I like Kitchener Road. Hai Xiang Restaurant at New Park is there. emm cant the owner's name just plainly be carol? haha jon, KNS... Like that also can... Creative sia, "ang mo herbal tea" indeed. But I wonder if it helped or worsen your throat. I was just there in kitchener road the other day and I should have hang ard there longer and I would get to see a celebrated gay blogger than with the infamous pang keng. damn. haha i'm baaack =) -ABJ celexter: It's the road behind the amazing Mustafa Center ! Beer is gas-pumped long island tea. Lol. Our slang in with my uniformed buddies. ROK: you guess? NPCC. Wahaha the typical malay life jibe was uncalled for. Oh other anonymous, don't be so emo. We stumbled over here different web page and thought I might as well check and you must build a civilization though the centuries <--Home |
